Not eligible for an ATAR yet:
  • You need at least 10 units; these come to 8.

UAC requires at least 10 units of Board Developed courses, including at least 2 units of English, three courses of 2 units or more, and courses from at least four subject areas. Your ATAR then uses your best 2 units of English plus your best 8 other units. Extension courses count on top of their 2-unit course; with Mathematics Extension 2, Extension 1 counts as 2 units and Mathematics Advanced doesn't count. Always confirm your pattern of study with your school and UAC.
