HSC Mark & Band Calculator
Enter your assessment mark and the exam mark you expect for each course. See your HSC mark, your band and how many marks the next band needs.
Your HSC mark in each course is a 50:50 combination of your exam mark and your school-based assessment mark, with half-marks rounded up, and it decides your band: Band 1 to Band 6 for 2-unit courses, E1 to E4 for extensions (out of 50, or out of 100 for Mathematics Extension 2). This is an estimate: your raw exam mark is aligned to the band standards and your school's assessment marks are moderated, so enter the marks you expect on the HSC scale. Your HSC mark is not your ATAR, which UAC calculates separately from scaled marks.
