The deal, in plain English.

otto ("otto", "we", "us") is an AI study coach for VCE students, operated by [your registered business name] (ABN [___]). You can reach us at info@grns.com.au.

otto is built for students studying the VCE. If you are under 18, you may only use otto with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, and by using it you confirm you have that consent. A parent or guardian who sets up or pays for an account is responsible for their child's use of it.

Keep your login details private and give us accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at info@grns.com.au if you think someone else has accessed it.

• otto is a paid subscription with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged during the trial.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically at A$29 per month and renews each month until you cancel.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your card details.
• Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. We'll give you reasonable notice before any price change.

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You agree not to:

• use otto to cheat — otto is designed to coach you to your own answers, not to complete assessments, exams or work you're required to do yourself;
• share your account, resell access, or use otto on behalf of others without our agreement;
• misuse the service — no attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer it, and nothing unlawful or harmful.

You're responsible for following your school's and VCAA's academic-integrity rules. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

otto helps you study, but your results depend on you. We don't promise any particular study score, ATAR or outcome, and otto isn't a substitute for your teachers, school or the official VCAA study design.

Otto is powered by AI and can make mistakes. Always check important answers against your course materials and teachers. otto is for study support only and isn't professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

The notes and work you upload stay yours. You give us the limited permission needed to store and process them to provide otto to you (see our Privacy & data page). The otto app, brand and content are ours — please don't copy or reuse them without permission.

We work to keep otto running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may update, pause or discontinue features. If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update this page and, where reasonable, let you know.

Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
